  • Clara knows her limits. If a patient needs personalized attention, Clara will take a message for your designated clinic contact.

  • Absolutely. Clara answers calls on the first ring 24/7, helping you delight patients even when your front desk is closed. No more missed late night opportunities.

  • Nope. Clara runs month-to-month — no long-term commitment. You pay monthly, and if you ever need to cancel, just give us 30 days’ notice. That’s it. (We’ll be sad to see you go.)

    That said, we also offer annual subscriptions, where you get 12 months for the price of 10 by paying up front. Plus, onboarding charges are waived.

  • Yes. Clara is part of ClinicGlide, which is built to the privacy and data security standards for healthcare. The solution has healthcare-grade protections designed to support your HIPAA, PIPEDA, and PHIPA obligations.

  • If your calls exceed your plan, we’ll bill the additional at the end of the month.
    If you would like to specify a cap, we can ensure you don’t go over it. If your usage grows, we’ll also recommend a better plan when appropriate to match your clinic’s needs.

  • You can convert to an annual plan at any time, and receive two months free.

    We offer volume discounts for large customers and can create a custom plan to suit your hospitals, national network, or large regional clinic group. Please book a session with our Sales Team to learn more.

  • Clara is designed to feel natural and patient-friendly, but we’re always upfront. Patients will experience smooth, respectful conversations from agents that know their limits and when to take a message.

  • No, unused calls and admin tasks in you plan do not carry over to subsequent months.

  • Spam and Unresponsive calls are very short calls (under 15 seconds) where the caller does not provide any request or meaningful input for Clara to act on. This includes robocalls, spam, quick hang-ups, and callers who never speak after Clara answers.

    These calls are billed at an 8-for-1 rate, meaning eight of them count as only one call toward your package usage or additional call charges.
